About this grant
Made Smarter South West supports manufacturing SMEs to improve productivity by adopting industrial digital technologies (Industry 4.0). The programme offers: fully funded digital action plans and 1:1 digital acceleration sessions led by the NCC and Oxford Innovation Advice; match-funded grants of £1,000–£20,000 (50% match) to purchase hardware or software; fully funded Digital Transformation leadership training (two-day workshops, Summer & Autumn 2026); fully funded Digital Champion implementation training; and fully funded digital student internships (up to 250 hours, April 2026 – March 2027). The programme is live from April 2026 and funded by the Department for Business and Trade.
