About this grant

Two Dorset-focused renewable energy funding schemes are available in 2026. The Dorset Council Capital Leverage Fund (Round 7) offers grants of £1,000–£25,000 covering up to 20% of total project costs for community and cultural organisations investing in climate and building improvements, including commercial solar PV. The Low Carbon Dorset Programme offers grants of up to 50% of eligible project costs for renewable energy and energy-efficiency projects (solar PV, battery storage, heat pumps, LED lighting, insulation) aimed at reducing carbon emissions across Dorset.
