Small Grants for Small Charities Supporting Older People

About this grant

Small grants of up to £7,000 for UK registered charities with an annual income of less than £350,000. The funding supports programmes in the British Isles that: aim to alleviate isolation and depression in older people (including informal day care or social, physical and recreational activities); give practical help, assistance and support for older people living in their own homes; address the emotional and practical needs of older carers; and are designed to meet the specific needs of people with dementia. The Charles Hayward Foundation favours preventative and early intervention programmes that allow older people to stay in their own homes and remain independent, demonstrating sustained effectiveness in improving quality of life.
