Gigabit Broadband Voucher Scheme

About this grant

Vouchers worth up to £4,500 towards the cost of installing gigabit-capable broadband at business (and residential) premises in eligible rural and hard-to-reach areas, delivered through group projects with registered suppliers. Operates in areas without a Project Gigabit procurement/contract or existing/planned commercial coverage; some regions have been closed to new projects, so eligibility is postcode-dependent. Note: BDUK has announced a wind-down — vouchers are planned to be issued to suppliers until 31 March 2027 (limited exceptions for strong-delivery suppliers), with the scheme ending by March 2028.
