Funded by the South Yorkshire Mayoral Combined Authority and delivered by Sheffield Hallam University and partners, it offers academic consultancy, R&D collaboration, deploy grants (via approved suppliers), and access to workshops and events. Funding covers 60–90% of project staff/labour costs depending on company size, with micro businesses and charities/social enterprises funded at 90%. Access to facilities/equipment and consumables is funded at a flat 50% rate.
