About this grant
The Suffolk Economy Grant from Suffolk County Council part-funds business projects in three areas: digital transformation and technology adoption, innovation and R&D, and decarbonisation and sustainability. Micro businesses can receive £2,500 to £10,000 (50% of project cost), small businesses £5,000 to £50,000 (30%) and medium businesses £10,000 to £100,000 (20%). Funding is mainly for capital items such as new technology, energy-efficient plant and machinery and emissions-reduction equipment. The programme runs until 31 March 2027 and projects must be fully completed by that date, so earlier applications are advisable; decisions can take up to 30 working days.
