About this grant

GMCA has established a £10m investment fund (GM Advance) to support the growth of companies in the advanced manufacturing and materials sector in Greater Manchester. The fund offers a range of subsidised financial products — including grants and micro equity — designed to bridge the gap in 'gateway' funding for innovation and product development. It helps businesses retain, grow, and attract operations into the region. GM Advance is a central part of Greater Manchester's Investment Zone, which is providing £160m over 10 years to develop the city-region's advanced manufacturing and materials sector.
