About this grant

Grants for classical music performance and training in the UK, especially chamber music, composition and music education (including music for people with special needs and youth orchestras). The Trust runs two application windows a year: 1 November to 31 January (decided at the July trustees' meeting; projects must not start before 1 July) and 1 May to 31 July (decided in December; projects must not start before the following 1 January). The Trust's pages give these recurring dates without a year and do not say whether a window is currently open, so check the guidelines before applying; on that cycle the next window opens on 1 November.
