About this grant
Partnership funding to help young people aged 16 to 25 in Cardiff into green careers (roles that cut carbon, restore nature or help adapt to climate change), building confidence and skills and offering work experience or placements, with a focus on young people from ethnically minoritised communities. Stage 1 development funding (£300 to £25,000) window runs 1 August to 31 October 2026, with decisions by end of November 2026. Only development grantees can then apply for project funding (£100,000 to £1.8m, 3 years, one award planned) between 1 December 2026 and 28 February 2027.
