About this grant

Funds organisations in Scotland that produce and deliver film festivals and public screening programmes, prioritising underserved and under-represented audiences. Organisations that have received Screen Scotland festival funding in the last three years can request two years of Development Funding. The final 2026-27 deadline is midnight on Thursday 12 November 2026 (decisions by 1 February 2027), for activity between 1 September 2026 and 31 August 2027; the fund may close earlier if fully allocated.
