About this grant

Capital grants to improve HGV driver facilities at lorry parks on or near England's strategic road network. It funds three areas: driver welfare (e.g. toilets, showers, rest areas), driver and site security, and parking capacity and layout. Eligible costs include construction, refurbishment, security equipment, design work and fixtures; running costs, staffing and overheads are excluded.
