About this grant
Funds the preparation of a UK Forestry Standard-compliant woodland creation design plan in England. Stage 1 is a desk-based constraints and opportunities assessment (£1,500 fixed payment); Stage 2 is the design plan, paid at £150 per hectare minus the Stage 1 payment, plus any specialist surveys Stage 1 shows are needed. Total funding is capped at £30,500 per project. Open year-round, with funding confirmed to 31 March 2030.
