About this grant
Grant for woodland creation, habitat enhancement and tree planting on land in or close to the National Forest, including shelterbelts, wood pasture, silvopasture and productive woodland. Funding is paid from a menu of standard-cost items, either as one-off or annual payments, with rates linked to national tree-planting and agri-environment grants. Schemes can be as small as 0.25 hectares. The 2026/27 window opened on 1 April 2026 and closes on 31 January 2027.
