About this grant

Grant for new tourism projects that raise the profile of the North York Moors and highlight its special qualities, such as new events that attract visitors or extend stays, shoulder-season activity like astrotourism, nature-based experiences, visitor equipment (wildlife watching or dark sky kit, drying facilities, secure bike lockers) and integrated marketing aimed at new audiences. Projects must be new activity, continue beyond the funding period, and meet the Authority's regenerative and inclusive tourism priorities. Applications are considered throughout the year on a first come, first served basis; completed projects must be claimed by 31 March 2027.
