Biffa Award (Landfill Communities Fund, administered by the Royal Society of Wildlife Trusts)

Biffa Award Main Grants Scheme (Community Buildings, Recreation, Cultural Facilities, Nature Recovery)

About this grant

Landfill Communities Fund capital grants for projects near Biffa operations and licensed landfill sites, under four themes: Community Buildings (village halls, community centres, church halls serving the wider community), Recreation (play parks, skateparks, trails, outdoor gyms, community sports clubhouses), Cultural Facilities (theatres, museums, galleries, arts and heritage centres) and Nature Recovery (habitat and species work with public access). Expressions of interest are accepted on a rolling basis; full applications go to quarterly Board meetings, so allow at least four months for a decision. Total project cost must be under £200,000 including VAT.
