About this grant
Landfill Communities Fund grants of £10,000 to £75,000 to create or improve community buildings and outdoor spaces, including fixed items such as heat pumps, solar panels, windows, toilets and fencing, at project sites in England in areas the Trust funds (communities living close to landfill sites). The 2026-27 rounds are: Round 2 opens 26 November 2026 and closes 7 January 2027 (12 noon), decision 2 March 2027; Round 3 opens 25 February 2027 and closes 1 April 2027, decision 8 June 2027. Round 1 closed on 1 October 2026.
