About this grant

Discretionary capital grant for farmers and horticultural producers in Wales to establish or develop agricultural diversification or commercial horticulture projects: non-traditional livestock enterprises, novel or alternative crops, adding value to agricultural products or by-products, and commercial horticulture. Beef, sheep, dairy, pig and poultry enterprises are not supported. Window 3 runs 21 September to 27 November 2026 with an indicative £1.5m budget; applications are scored and ranked (minimum score 30), then selected projects go to a full second-stage appraisal.
