About this grant
A one-off payment to produce a 10-year woodland management plan that meets the UK Forestry Standard, so owners can plan felling, thinning, restocking and habitat work. It is available all year from 5 January 2026, subject to budget; applications are not scored and eligible applications are approved while funds last. It does not pay for the management work itself, agent fees or work started before the agreement.
