About this grant

Funds innovative security technologies that reach a model or prototype demonstration at TRL 6 or 7 in three focus areas set by the Home Office, the National Protective Security Authority (NPSA) and the Department for Transport. Stage 1 proposals close at midday on 29 October 2026 with outcomes on 30 November; invited Stage 2 proposals are due by midday on 28 January 2027, with decisions on 11 March 2027. Successful projects are funded through an Innovation Standard Contract rather than a grant agreement.
