About this grant
Capital grant for Welsh farms to roof over existing livestock feeding areas, livestock gathering areas or manure storage areas on impermeable concrete floors, paid at £40 per m² of roof installed. Applications can be made through the year on RPW Online from 17 September 2026 until March 2028, with selection rounds in the weeks commencing 30 November 2026, 25 January 2027 and 22 March 2027; the last date to submit for 2027/28 selection is 25 June 2027. The indicative budget is £1 million for 2027/28.
