About this grant
Funds Blue Teams to build production-grade, security-critical software components whose key security properties are backed by machine-checked proofs under clearly stated threat models. Funded teams work in 8-week sprint cycles, with each verified system stress-tested by a central red-teaming partner, and are supported toward real-world adoption. ARIA expects to fund 3 to 6 teams at about £2.5 million to £3.5 million each from a £20 million call. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis and reviewed in quarterly batches: the current cut-off is 2pm on 31 October 2026 (decisions by 30 November 2026), and later proposals roll into the next quarterly cycle.
