About this grant

A £6 million, three-year fund to help small voluntary and community organisations and social entrepreneurs develop earned income (£4 million ring-fenced for asset-locked organisations in England, £2 million for UK-wide non-constituted groups and individuals). Henry Smith Foundation is appointing at least four Intermediary Partners, each funded £500,000 to £1.5 million to deliver onward grants, enterprise development support, peer learning and programme management, with a focus on communities experiencing high deprivation. Expressions of interest open at 9am on 28 October 2026 and close at 5pm on 25 November 2026; invited full applications are due 5pm on 22 January 2027, with partners notified in the first week of April 2027.
