About this grant
Small grants for charities and community groups that directly help children and young people develop literacy skills, with a focus on learning difficulties such as dyslexia. At least half of the children supported must have learning difficulties or be disengaged from learning. The scheme is open at any time with grants made three times a year; the next round deadlines are 1 March 2027, 2 June 2027 and 4 October 2027. Criteria were updated in July 2026.
