Big Give Earth Raise 2027 (environmental match funding campaign)

About this grant

Big Give's environmental match funding campaign (formerly the Green Match Fund). It is not an upfront grant: money is released as match funding against public donations raised during the campaign week, with each online donation to a participating charity doubled from its match pot (Champion funds, plus the charity's own pledges under the pledge model) until the pot runs out. Charity applications open on 2 November 2026 and close at 5pm on 15 January 2027; pledges are due by 12 February 2027 and the campaign runs from 22 to 29 April 2027. A charity that misses its target still receives match funds up to the value of the online donations it received.
