About this grant
London child poverty match funding campaign run by The Childhood Trust on Big Give. It is not an upfront grant: money is released as match funding against public donations raised during the campaign, which runs from 1 to 15 June 2027. Each charity first secures pledges from its own supporters, The Childhood Trust adds up to the same amount in Champion funds, and the combined pot doubles online donations until it runs out. Projects must fall under physical health, mental wellbeing, safe home and community environment, or learning and work readiness. Applications open on 16 November 2026 and close at 5pm on 22 January 2027; pledges are due by 12 March 2027. A charity that misses its target still receives match funds up to the value of the online donations it received.
