Grants in three areas: advancing Christian faith and values (fresh expressions of church, pioneer ministries, nurturing children and young people in the faith, and supporting oppressed Christian communities overseas); UK work, mainly through Christian-inspired organisations, with disadvantaged people such as families and young people at risk, prisoners and ex-offenders (especially women in the justice system), homeless people and refugees; and poverty relief, mainly through Christian organisations, in low-income Sub-Saharan African countries, focused on education and livelihoods for street children, young people at risk and people with disabilities. Applications go through the coordinated Laing Family Trusts process, which is rolling with no deadlines, and outcomes are usually given within four months.
