A Better Childhood – The First 1001 Days Fund

About this grant

Early intervention grants (from a £115,000 pot) for projects supporting parents from conception to a child's second birthday, building support networks and improving parental wellbeing. Priority groups include families affected by domestic abuse or substance misuse, parents with care or justice system experience, refugees and asylum seekers, Gypsy, Roma and Traveller families and families in poverty. Examples: peer support groups, parenting programmes, father-focused support and support after pregnancy loss. Deadline 12pm, 29 October 2026; decisions in December.
