About this grant
The RS Macdonald Charitable Trust's small grants give up to £20,000 to small, community-led voluntary organisations working in Scotland, assessed on a rolling basis with no deadline. Running-cost grants can total up to £20,000 but no more than £10,000 a year; one-off development projects such as equipment or partnership work can receive up to £20,000 over no more than one year. Requests must fit one of the Trust's themes: tackling child abuse and neglect, visual impairment and sight loss, neurological conditions, or animal welfare. Larger main grants run in separate rounds (next round spring 2027).
