About this grant
Telford & Wrekin Council's 'Get Started' grant offers up to £300 to help set up new community and voluntary organisations that support self-help, build resilient communities and reduce demand on council services. Groups with a signed governing document can apply for up to £300 and those without one for up to £100. It covers start-up costs such as initial insurance, equipment, initial rent or hire, promotional materials, training and DBS checks. Applications can be submitted at any time and decisions are made within 20 working days.
