About this grant

Cheshire West and Chester Council's new grant fund for preventative, community-led activity that helps residents earlier and reduces or delays the need for statutory services, with £897,000 available in 2026/27. Four tiers: Innovation Fund (under £5,000, up to 12 months), Prevention Pilots (£5,001–£50,000, up to two years), Scale and Sustainability Fund (£50,001–£100,000, up to three years) and Learning and Evaluation (up to £40,000). Phase One runs from 7 October to 4 November 2026 and focuses on inclusion of children and young people with SEND, volunteering and life skills that reduce loneliness, and earlier financial and digital-inclusion support; Phase Two (16 November to 14 December 2026) will cover different priorities.
