About this grant
Kent County Council's annual capital grant competition for village and community halls, matching £1 for every £1 raised up to 50% of eligible project costs; no maximum grant is published. It funds improvements such as extensions, new halls, toilet upgrades, replacement windows and heating, and better insulation, and will also consider work on a building that might otherwise deteriorate to the point of having to close. Applications should be submitted by 31 December, with decisions about three months later.
