ECITB Engineering Training Grants

About this grant

The ECITB pays training grants to engineering construction employers towards the cost of developing their workforce. Grants cover craft and technician skills, safety training, leadership and supervisory development, competence assurance such as vocational qualifications and technical tests, contractual requirements such as works access and plant operations, project management and commercial skills, apprenticeship support and graduate development. The grant rate depends on value for money, third-party fees and industry demand, and may not cover the whole course cost. Claims are made through the ECITB Connect Grant portal, which replaced the Membership Services Portal from January 2026.
