HMGCC Co-Creation is funding a 12-week proof-of-concept project for an edge device that processes video and audio from off-the-shelf smart glasses and builds high-fidelity 3D maps, to support reconnaissance in urban areas where drones and satellites are unsuitable. Deliverables include a data-flow and access report, daytime urban imagery from the glasses' cameras and a proof-of-concept 3D map at Technology Readiness Level 4 or above. HMGCC funds all time, materials, overheads and indirect costs. Applications close at 5pm on 12 November 2026, with a pitch day on 25 November and project kick-off targeted for January 2027.
