AIM Training Grants 2026

About this grant

Small grants to help AIM member museums pay for training and development for their paid staff and volunteers, including courses, seminars and workshops, online training, subject specialist training, museum study visits and mentoring placements. Fees, accommodation (where distance travel is involved) and environmentally sensitive travel can be covered; conference tickets and individual CPD with no organisational benefit are excluded. AIM says applications are open 'until November 2026': applications must be submitted by the end of a calendar month and are reviewed on the first Tuesday of the following month, so the last submission AIM's wording clearly covers is 31 October 2026 (reviewed 3 November). Grants for 2026 must be completed and claimed by Monday 14 December 2026.
