About this grant
Dorset Council's Local Alliance Groups fund evidence-based and innovative projects that improve outcomes for children, young people and families in the Dorset Council area. Funding is allocated through seven local areas (Weymouth, Portland, Dorchester, Purbeck, West, East and North), each with its own priorities. Single groups can apply for up to £5,000 and consortium bids for up to £20,000, and projects must start and spend the money within the same financial year. Applications close at 5pm on 19 February 2027, or earlier in an area once its funding is allocated.
