Plymouth City Council pledges money from its City Change Fund (funded from development income) to community projects that crowdfund on Crowdfund Plymouth. The council can pledge up to 50% of a project's initial target, up to £30,000, on all-or-nothing campaigns. Projects must promote community cohesion or economic, social or environmental wellbeing, help address the demands development places on an area, and support the city's Climate Emergency Declaration or tackle the cost of living crisis. The fund is open on a rolling basis but may be paused if development income slows.
