About this grant
East Devon District Council contributes to the administrative and legal costs of transferring a business to an employee ownership trust (EOT). Businesses with 5 to 49 employees receive £1,000 and those with 50 or more receive £2,500, paid in arrears once the transfer completes. The small budget is allocated first come, first served with no fixed deadline, and reserved grants last up to 12 months.
