Wealden District Council

Wealden Sports Infrastructure Fund 2024-2027

About this grant

Wealden District Council's Sports Infrastructure Fund gives capital grants of £5,000 to £50,000 for outdoor sports projects listed in the council's Playing Pitch and Outdoor Sports Strategy (PPOSS), such as floodlighting, fixed equipment, accessibility improvements and maintenance equipment like mowers. It is funded from the Community Infrastructure Levy (£200,000 a year). Applications are accepted on a rolling basis until 31 December 2026, or earlier if the money runs out. Email an expression of interest with a short project summary and the PPOSS site ID; eligible applicants then receive the full application pack.
