Mid Suffolk District Council

Mid Suffolk Community Nature Recovery Large Grants (November 2026 window)

About this grant

Mid Suffolk District Council Community Nature Recovery Large Grants pay up to 100% of costs, from £2,000 to £50,000, for habitat creation and management projects with community or public access. They can fund capital works, habitat management, training, communications and volunteer costs, with pre-project costs capped at £5,000. Land purchase is only considered where it secures or increases public access. Projects should support the Mid Suffolk Biodiversity Action Plan and the Suffolk Local Nature Recovery Strategy. The next window runs from 16 November 2026 to 18 January 2027. Submit a Grant Enquiry Form first; eligible enquiries are invited to apply.
