About this grant

Renfrewshire Council's Town Centre Premises Grant helps businesses open in previously vacant ground-floor commercial units in town centres across Renfrewshire, including Paisley, Johnstone, Renfrew, Linwood and Erskine. It covers up to 50% of project costs, to a maximum of £25,000. Eligible costs include premises improvements, fixtures, fittings and equipment, security, stationery, advertising and marketing, rent, planning and building regulation fees, and insurance. Vehicles, wages and utility bills are not covered. Contact the Business Gateway Renfrewshire team first; if matched and eligible you complete an application with a business plan, two years of forecasts and quotes, and the council confirms a decision within 2 weeks.
