Prevention Accelerator Programme (Doncaster and Sheffield)

About this grant

The Prevention Accelerator Programme, run by South Yorkshire's Community Foundation for South Yorkshire ICB, funds community work in Doncaster and Sheffield with people at risk of, or living with, cardiovascular conditions, kidney disease and diabetes. Examples include physical activity, creative health and green or blue social prescribing, focused on the most deprived communities, Global Majority communities and men aged 40 to 74. Grants are up to £10,000 for a single organisation or up to £20,000 for partnered or cross-regional projects, and can include a fair share of overheads. Round one closes at 5pm on Monday 23 November 2026. Activity starts no earlier than 15 February 2027 and must finish by 31 March 2028. Apply online through SYCF's application portal.
