About this grant

The PH Holt Foundation gives one-year grants of £750 to £15,000 to small and medium-sized charities in Merseyside, to strengthen local communities and keep vital charity services running. It funds existing and new activities, including salaries, project costs, volunteer and beneficiary costs, community and outreach work, arts, welfare and education programmes, advice and advocacy services, and resources and equipment. Larger or recurring grants may be considered in exceptional cases. Applications are accepted at any time through the online form, with trustees deciding four times a year (early January, April, July and October); decisions can take up to six weeks. Calling first to check fit is recommended. Activities that have already started cannot be funded.
