Argyll and Bute New Business Grant

About this grant

A grant of up to £1,000 from Argyll and Bute Council to help genuinely new businesses with start-up costs. Eligible costs are assessed on a discretionary basis and can include machinery, tools and equipment, marketing, website development, premises refurbishment, trade fairs and non-statutory training or accreditation. Applicants complete an application form with supporting evidence, and the grant is paid on approval. Funding is limited and the programme will close when all funds are committed. The council lists the grant under its live funding schemes and asks businesses to register interest through its Business Funding Enquiry Form.
