About this grant

Hinckley and Bosworth Borough Council offers a fixed £600 Warm Welcome Provision Grant to voluntary and community sector or other not-for-profit organisations that run a free warm space for local people this winter. From 1 October 2026 eligible organisations can apply if they agree to offer a heated space during the winter months, be open to everyone, offer refreshments such as a warm drink, and provide the space free of charge for at least eight hours a month for at least four months. The grant can cover energy, food and refreshments, venue improvements and equipment for a new activity; provision runs October 2026 to March 2027 and the grant must be spent before March 2027.
