Suffolk & Essex Coast & Heaths National Landscape Sustainable Development Fund 2027-28

About this grant

The Suffolk & Essex Coast & Heaths National Landscape Sustainable Development Fund, funded by Defra, has £49,000 for 2027-28 projects that conserve and enhance the natural beauty of the Suffolk & Essex Coast & Heaths National Landscape while bringing together environmental, community and economic benefits. There is no formal limit, but the panel usually awards up to £6,000 per project. Grants cover up to 70% of project value; community groups can count in-kind contributions such as volunteer time, and requests of about £1,000 or less can be funded in full. The round opened in October 2026 and closes on 3 February 2027, with decisions in March 2027. Projects must run between April 2027 and 9 March 2028. Apply using the Word application form and budget spreadsheet on the funder's page.
