About this grant
Barking and Dagenham Council's Crisis and Resilience Fund Community Grants Programme funds services that help borough residents experiencing financial hardship. Projects should deliver at least one of three objectives: effective crisis support, improving financial resilience, or strengthening local support networks. Grants come in three tiers: small (up to £10,000), medium (£10,000 to £100,000) and large (more than £100,000). Expressions of interest opened on 18 September 2026 and close on 27 November 2026; the form is emailed to the council and shortlisted organisations are then invited to submit a full application. A further community grants programme is planned after April 2027.
