About this grant
Long-term funding from The National Lottery Community Fund for organisations in England that build community power, such as developing local leadership, giving people more say in local investment decisions, shaping local services and increasing community control over important buildings and spaces. Awards are £500,000 to £2.5 million, with most projects running for 5 to 10 years, and up to 16 awards are expected. Applications open at 12pm on 25 November 2026 and close at 12pm on 20 January 2027. Applicants must join or watch a webinar first. Shortlisted applications go to a second, more detailed stage, and the whole process takes around 9 months.
