Community Foundation Wales (High Sheriff of Gwent)

Gwent High Sheriff's Community Fund

About this grant

The Gwent High Sheriff's Community Fund supports community and voluntary organisations helping young people up to 25 across Gwent to live safer, more positive lives. Projects must fit at least one theme: prevention, reducing involvement in crime, or improving trust between young people, their communities and the police. Grants of up to £7,500 are for one year, and a small number of multi-year awards of up to £22,500 over three years may be made. Funding can cover piloting new projects, activity programmes, and equipment and materials. Apply online through Community Foundation Wales by 12 midday on 16 November 2026. Shortlisted groups are told in the week of 18 January 2027 and decisions are made at a participatory Your Voice, Your Choice event on 20 March 2027.
