Vivensa Foundation SHAPE Exchange Challenge Fund (healthy ageing and housing)

About this grant

The SHAPE Exchange Challenge Fund will invest at least £3 million across the four UK nations in place-based partnerships that use housing as a lever to help people thrive in later life. Each 'SHAPE site' can receive up to £1 million over up to three years, mainly for revenue costs with limited capital where it directly enables the project. Most proposals are expected to be worth at least £500,000 including match or in-kind contributions. Partnerships should work across housing, health, care and community sectors, involve people with lived experience and include an evaluation partner such as a university. Applications opened on 27 October 2026 and close at 5pm on 12 March 2027 through the Vivensa grants portal, with shortlisting in April 2027, site visits in April to May and trustee decisions on 10 June 2027.
