About this grant

The Brelms Trust gives grants to small charities based in Yorkshire that work at the heart of their communities to tackle disadvantage. Grants run from £1,000 to £7,000 a year, as one-off awards or for up to three consecutive years (maximum £21,000). Funding can cover staff salaries (at least the Living Wage), volunteer expenses, core running costs and direct service delivery. The Trust does not usually fund the full cost of a project, so other funding should be in place. Applications are welcomed now for grants to be awarded in January 2027; they are assessed through the year and trustees decide at quarterly meetings. Apply with the online form, attaching your latest annual report and accounts and a budget.
